Date:

  • November 30 – December 1, 2024.

Venue and registration:

  • It will be played on OGS server.

  • If you want to participate in the tournament, first register using the form in the Registration section and pay the entry fee.

  • Then log into the tournament group on Discord and the tournament room on the OGS server by Friday 29 November 2024 at 10:00 PM.

  • The start of the tournament will take place on Discord on Saturday at 9:30 AM. The draw will be available five minutes before each round there.

Rules

  • Japanese,

  • Fisher’s time 45 minutes and 20 seconds per move,

  • 6.5 komi points for an even game,

  • Handicap will be reduced by two stones,

  • Black challenges the opponent,

  • The game will be suspended after 30 minutes if won’t start,

  • Participation in individual rounds can be canceled no later than 15 minutes before their start.

Entry fee

  • Adults: €10 or 250CZK,

  • Youth under 18: €5 or 125CZK.

Prizes

  • 1st place 100€ and title Falconer’s Cup 2024 Champion,

  • 2nd place 60€,

  • 3rd place 40€,

  • 4 and 5 points players earn sponsorship prizes from the company go-shop.cz (game-go.shop).

We require fair play and no programs, literature or help from another player during games. In the event of a dispute, referee Karel Wälzer will be called. Dan players should use the game recording.
